Kent, WA neighborhoods we serve
Requests are welcome from anywhere in the City of Kent (ZIP codes 98030, 98031, 98032 and 98042 all include parts of Kent). Here's what tree work tends to look like in each part of town.
Tree service in East Hill
The large residential plateau east of downtown, stretching east from the valley bluffs across the 104th Ave SE / SR 515 corridor. Lots of 1980s–2010s subdivisions where native firs were left in greenbelts and backyards. Those edge trees, suddenly exposed to wind after neighboring land was cleared, are a frequent reason for storm-season calls.

The plateau west of the valley toward I-5 and Pacific Highway South, including the area around Lake Fenwick Park. Many homes date from the 1960s–1980s, so trees planted then are now large and mature, and steeper slopes down toward the valley can mean critical-area rules apply.

The flat Green River valley floor, including downtown Kent and Kent Station. Older downtown neighborhoods have large street-side and backyard trees, while cottonwoods and willows grow along the Green River and its levees. Trees in the planting strip by the curb are in the public right-of-way and have their own rules.

One of Kent's oldest neighborhoods, on the hillside above downtown near Mill Creek Canyon Earthworks Park. Larger lots and mature conifers on slopes make careful sectional removal and rigging the norm here.
Request a quote in Scenic Hill →Tree service in Panther Lake
The north East Hill area around Panther Lake, annexed into Kent in 2010. Mature second-growth firs and maples mixed with 1980s–1990s homes; properties near the lake and wetlands may fall under critical-area protections.
Request a quote in Panther Lake →Tree service in Lake Meridian
The neighborhoods surrounding Lake Meridian and Lake Meridian Park in southeast Kent. Shoreline and lakeside lots can have extra rules for trees near the water, and big waterfront trees often need to come down in small sections.
Request a quote in Lake Meridian →Tree service in Meridian Valley
The East Hill neighborhoods around the Meridian Valley golf course. Established streets with large evergreens and tight lots where crane-assisted or sectional removal is common.
Request a quote in Meridian Valley →Tree service in East Kent near Covington
The eastern edge of Kent along Kent-Kangley Road (SR 516) toward the Covington city line, including neighborhoods around SE 256th St. More acreage and larger stands of native trees. (If you're just over the line in Covington, ask — requests from nearby areas are often accepted.)

If you're in a neighboring community such as Covington, Auburn, Renton, Des Moines or unincorporated King County nearby, go ahead and send your request. If the tree service can't cover your address, we'll tell you rather than leaving you waiting. Note that cities and King County each have their own tree rules, so the permit note above applies to properties inside Kent city limits.
